Inspired by the Camino de Santiago, the American Faith Pilgrimage Trail (AFPT) is a proposed trail system, intended to be non-denominational. We are a 501c3 organization ( in process of creation) dedicated to establishing a pilgrimage trail in eastern Kentucky. Our goal is to follow the old Jenny Wiley Trail corridor established in the 1970s, but since abandoned.

We propose to acquire permanent easements or purchase land strips for the creation of the trail system. Check points with inscribed biblical verses will be established at key locations along the trail. The goal is to attract Christians from all over the world to a pilgrimage of faith through the beautiful landscape of Kentucky. For information, contact :
